Privacy Policy

Transparency around the information we collect and how we handle it across the Vynex ecosystem.

Last updated October 4, 2026Effective immediately

1. Information we collect

We collect identifiers that you or platform integrations provide, including your Steam ID, Discord ID, FiveM identifier, email address, and in-portal activity logs.

When you sign in with Steam, we store your Steam ID, Steam display name, and avatar image URL to identify your account.

Support tickets, queue activity, and audit events may include free-form text supplied by you or staff reviewers.

2. How information is used

Data is used to authenticate you, manage priority queues, deliver staff tooling, and enforce community policies.

Aggregated and anonymised metrics help operations plan staffing, review incidents, and improve the player experience.

3. Sharing and retention

We share data only with trusted infrastructure partners required to run the portal (hosting providers, database storage, Discord bot infrastructure).

Account records, including these Steam profile fields, are stored in a Neon PostgreSQL database in Frankfurt, Germany.

Operational records are retained while you remain an active member. Certain audit trails may be preserved longer to comply with community or legal requirements.

4. Your choices

You may request a review of stored data or ask for corrections by opening a support ticket. Some records must remain for compliance and security purposes.

Disconnecting a linked service (such as Discord) may limit access to parts of the portal or the in-game server.

5. Security

We apply role-based access controls, multi-factor authentication for staff, and continuous monitoring. Despite these measures, no system is immune to risk; notify operations immediately if you suspect a breach.

6. Contact

Privacy requests can be directed to privacy@vynexrp.net or submitted through the support workflow.
