Start here / VynexRP
Good roleplay starts before the first scene. Get to know the standards, give your character a reason to be here, and understand how to join.
Getting ready
Take your time. A character with room to grow is worth more than a perfect application.
Start with the fundamentals: staying in character, fair conflict, valuing life, and respecting other players. Read the full rules before planning your first scene.
Read the rulesKnow what your character wants, what they are afraid of, and what they can lose. Leave space for relationships and experiences in the city to change them.
Prepare your characterContinue with Steam, complete verification, then link Discord. Your account and saved application draft stay together, even while the game server is offline.
Create your accountSubmit your whitelist application in the portal. Check your application for feedback or a decision. The game server and queue remain offline; approval prepares you for reopening.
Open your applicationStay in character, respond to the roleplay offered to you, and give other players room to react. Raise concerns after the scene through the proper channels.
Value your character's life and accept consequences. A failed plan, an arrest, or a lost chase can give the next chapter somewhere to go.
Keep real-world boundaries clear. Harassment is never justified by a character, and information from outside the game does not belong in the scene.
A few answers
The game server is offline while VynexRP is being rebuilt. The queue is paused. Accounts and whitelist applications are open. Complete your account setup, then submit your application. You can read the rules and Academy without a player account.
Give your character believable motives, stay in character, and respond to the people around you. The rules reward collaborative storytelling rather than winning every encounter. Consequences should create roleplay for everyone involved.
Read the rules and think through your character's motivations, vulnerabilities, and response to conflict. The Academy's whitelist guide covers character depth, continuity, community maturity, and rule literacy. Application requirements should be checked again when you apply.
Review timing depends on staff availability and the application. Follow the status and any feedback in your portal; this guide does not promise a review deadline.
